PLA activities in the waters and airspace around Taiwan

6 to 6 a.m. (UTC+8) Saturday to Sunday, Dec. 23-24

2.PLA activities：
22 PLA aircraft and 7 PLAN vessels around Taiwan were detected by 6 a.m.(UTC+8) today. 11 of the detected aircraft had crossed the median line of the Taiwan Strait or entered Taiwan’s southwest ADIZ. R.O.C. Armed Forces have monitored the situation and tasked CAP aircraft, Navy vessels, and land-based missile systems to respond these activities.

3.PLA balloon：
One PRC’s balloon was detected at 10:20 yesterday after crossing the median line of the Taiwan Strait at the location 97 nautical miles northwest of Keelung and altitude of approximately 20,000 feet. The balloon headed east and disappeared at 11:35.
